سياسة التحكيم العلمي

تلتزم مجلة بغداد للعلوم الإنسانية بتطبيق أعلى معايير الجودة والنزاهة الأكاديمية في جميع الأبحاث المنشورة. ولتحقيق ذلك، تعتمد المجلة نظام التحكيم المزدوج التعمية (Double anonymous peer review)؛ إذ تُخفى هوية المؤلفين عن المحكّمين، كما تُخفى هوية المحكّمين عن المؤلفين، بما يضمن الحياد والموضوعية في التقييم.

آلية التحكيم

1) التدقيق الأولي

تجري اللجنة العلمية مراجعة أولية للبحث للتحقق من توافقه مع نطاق المجلة، واستيفائه للشروط الشكلية والمنهجية وأخلاقيات النشر. كما تخضع جميع البحوث لفحص الاستلال/الانتحال العلمي قبل بدء التحكيم باستخدام برامج عالمية معترف بها للكشف عن نسبة التشابه.

تُرفض أي مخطوطة تتجاوز نسبة التشابه فيها 20%، وقد يُطلب من المؤلفين إجراء التعديلات اللازمة لتتوافق المخطوطة مع معايير النشر المعتمدة.

2) اختيار المحكّمين

بعد إزالة أي بيانات تعريفية بالمؤلف، يُرسل البحث إلى محكّمين اثنين على الأقل من ذوي الخبرة والاختصاص الدقيق في موضوع البحث.

3) التقييم العلمي

يقوم كل محكّم بإعداد تقرير تحكيمي وفق نموذج تقييم معتمد يتضمن محاور أساسية، مثل:

أصالة البحث وأهميته العلمية

سلامة المنهجية

وضوح النتائج والتحليل

جودة اللغة والأسلوب الأكاديمي

دقة التوثيق والمراجع

4) قرار النشر

بناءً على تقارير المحكّمين، يكون القرار أحد الخيارات التالية:

قبول البحث كما هو

القبول بعد تعديلات طفيفة أو جوهرية

رفض البحث مع بيان الأسباب

ويُعتمد القرار النهائي من قبل رئيس التحرير بعد دراسة تقارير المحكّمين.

5) إعادة التحكيم (عند الحاجة)

إذا أجرى المؤلف تعديلات جوهرية، قد يُعاد إرسال البحث إلى المحكّمين للتحقق من استيفاء الملاحظات.

ضمانات النزاهة

تلتزم جميع الأطراف بسرية المعلومات والمحتوى العلمي أثناء عملية التحكيم.

لا يُسمح بأي تضارب في المصالح بين المؤلفين والمحكّمين..

Peer Review Policy

The Baghdad Journal of Humanities is committed to the highest standards of quality and academic integrity in all published research. To ensure an objective and impartial evaluation process, the journal applies a Double Anonymous Peer Review (Double-blind peer review) model, in which authors’ identities are concealed from reviewers and reviewers’ identities are concealed from authors.

Peer Review Process

1) Initial Screening

The Editorial/Scientific Committee conducts an initial assessment to ensure that the manuscript fits the journal’s scope and meets formal, methodological, and ethical requirements. All submissions are also screened for plagiarism/similarity before peer review using internationally recognized plagiarism detection tools.

Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 20% are rejected, and authors may be asked to revise their work to comply with the journal’s publication standards.

2) Reviewer Selection

After removing all author-identifying information, the manuscript is sent to at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise in the manuscript’s specific field.

3) Academic Evaluation

Each reviewer completes an official evaluation form focusing on key criteria, including:

Originality and scholarly contribution

Methodological soundness

Clarity of results and analysis

Quality of language and academic writing

Accuracy of citations and references

4) Editorial Decision

Based on reviewers’ reports, the decision will be one of the following:

Accept as submitted

Accept with minor or major revisions

Reject with reasons

The final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief after reviewing the referees’ reports.

5) Re-review (if required)

If major revisions are made, the revised manuscript may be returned to the reviewers to confirm that all comments have been adequately addressed.

Integrity and Confidentiality

All parties must keep the manuscript and review reports confidential throughout the review process.

Any conflict of interest between authors and reviewers is not permitted.
