الملخص :
تُعدّ المنمنمات في المخطوطات الإسلامية أحد أبرز الإنجازات الفنية التي تعكس تطور الحضارة الإسلامية ورؤيتها الجمالية والفكرية. فقد ظهرت هذه الفنون المصغّرة مع ازدهار حركة التأليف والترجمة في العصور العباسية، ثم تطورت في المدارس الفارسية والسلجوقية والمملوكية والعثمانية لتبلغ درجات عالية من الإتقان والدلالة الرمزية. وتمثل المنمنمة الإسلامية فنًا مركبًا يجمع بين الرسم والزخرفة والخط، ويعكس في الوقت نفسه عمق الثقافة البصرية لدى الفنان المسلم مقدمة البحث .يشكّل فنّ المنمنمات في المخطوطات الإسلامية أحد المظاهر البارزة للفنون البصرية التي أسهمت في تشكيل الوعي الجمالي والثقافي للحضارة الإسلامية عبر قرون متعاقبة. فقد ارتبط هذا الفن ارتباطًا وثيقًا بحركة التأليف والنسخ والترجمة، وأصبح وسيلة تعبيرية تجمع بين الصورة والنص، وتمنح المخطوط بعدًا بصريًا مكمّلًا لمضمونه العلمي أو الأدبي. ولم تكن المنمنمات مجرد عناصر تزيينية، بل حملت مضامين فكرية وثقافية عميقة، عكست رؤية الفنان المسلم للعالم، وطريقة تعامله مع مفاهيم الجمال، والمعرفة، والإنسان، والزمان والمكان. ومن هذا المنطلق، تكتسب دراسة المنمنمات في المخطوطات الإسلامية أهمية خاصة بوصفها خطابًا فنيًا وثقافيًا متعدد الدلالات، يتجاوز حدود الزخرفة إلى آفاق التحليل الحضاري.

Abstract
Miniatures in Islamic manuscripts represent one of the most remarkable artistic achievements reflecting the development of Islamic civilization and its aesthetic and intellectual vision. These small-scale artistic forms emerged alongside the flourishing movement of authorship, translation, and knowledge production during the Abbasid era. Over time, they evolved within various artistic schools, including the Persian, Seljuk, Mamluk, and Ottoman traditions, reaching high levels of refinement, technical mastery, and symbolic expression. The Islamic miniature can therefore be understood as a composite art that integrates painting, ornamentation, and calligraphy, demonstrating the depth of visual culture cultivated by Muslim artists.
The art of miniatures in Islamic manuscripts constitutes one of the most prominent manifestations of visual arts that contributed to shaping the aesthetic and cultural awareness of Islamic civilization across successive centuries. This artistic practice was closely linked to the processes of writing, copying, and translating texts, and it gradually became a powerful expressive medium that combined image and text, giving manuscripts an additional visual dimension that complemented their scientific or literary content. Miniatures were not merely decorative elements; rather, they carried profound intellectual and cultural meanings. Through their compositions, they reflected the worldview of Muslim artists and their interpretations of concepts such as beauty, knowledge, humanity, time, and space.
From this perspective, the study of miniatures in Islamic manuscripts gains particular importance as a form of artistic and cultural discourse rich in multiple layers of meaning. It goes beyond the boundaries of ornamentation to offer valuable insights into the intellectual and cultural foundations of Islamic civilization, revealing how visual representation interacted with broader social, religious, and philosophical contexts.
