الملخص:
تبحث هذه الدراسة موقف العراق من عملية “طوفان الأقصى” وأحداث غزة بوصفها متغيرًا إقليميًا مؤثرًا وذات انعكاسات مباشرة في بنية الأمن القومي العراقي. اذ تسعى إلى تحليل تفاعلات الموقفين الرسمي والمتمثل بموقف الحكومة العراقية والموقف الشعبي الأكثر تضامنا مع القضية الفلسطينية وتفسير تداعيات طوفان الاقصى على المستويات الأمنية والعسكرية والسياسية. اذ تشير النتائج إلى أن الحكومة العراقية انتهجت سياسة اتزان حذرة تقوم على إدانة العنف والدعوة إلى التهدئة مع الحفاظ على توازن علاقاتها الخارجية. وفي المقابل أظهر الموقف الشعبي التضامن والتعاطف الواسع مع الشعب الفلسطيني. وتخلص الدراسة إلى أن تحصين الأمن القومي العراقي يتطلب تبني مقاربة شاملة تقوم على توحيد الخطاب الرسمي، وتعزيز الجاهزية الأمنية، وتفعيل الدبلوماسية الوقائية لضمان استقرار الدولة في بيئة إقليمية مضطربة.

Abstract:
This study examines Iraq's position on Operation Protective Edge and the events in Gaza as an influential regional variable with direct repercussions on the structure of Iraqi national security. It seeks to analyze the interactions between the official positions, represented by the Iraqi government, and the popular stance, which is more sympathetic to the Palestinian cause, and to explain the repercussions of the Al-Aqsa Intifada at the security, military, and political levels. The results indicate that the Iraqi government adopted a cautiously balanced policy based on condemning violence and calling for calm while maintaining a balanced foreign relation. Conversely, the popular stance demonstrated widespread solidarity and sympathy with the Palestinian people. The study concludes that strengthening Iraqi national security requires adopting a comprehensive approach based on unifying official discourse, enhancing security preparedness, and activating preventive diplomacy to ensure the state's stability in a turbulent regional environment.
