Abstract:
This study aims to investigate the impact of generative learning on developing visual thinking skills and enhancing artistic creativity among students with learning difficulties. The researcher employed an experimental design with equivalent groups, involving a sample of sixteen (16) fourth-grade students (male and female) from schools in the, Fadhle . A specialized test consisting of 22 items was prepared to measure the level of visual thinking, and its face validity and reliability were confirmed through a panel of experts and the application of the Kuder-Richardson Formula (KR-20). Statistical tools such as the Mann-Whitney test, Chi-square test, and Wilcoxon test were applied to analyze the differences between pre- and post-tests.
The results revealed statistically significant
differences between the experimental and control groups in visual thinking
skills and artistic creativity, with the outcomes favoring the group exposed to
the generative learning approach. The study concludes with emphasizing the
importance of adopting generative learning as an effective method in teaching
students with learning difficulties, and it provides practical recommendations
for applying this approach both inside and outside the classroom.
